Highlights:

?Overnight Barracks:
Barracks will serve as Union HQ as well as Reenactors only restrooms
during this event!

 
Accommodates Up to 38 adults in three bunkrooms with a separate Kitchen/Mess area and four modern Bathroom facilities

                 Sits up to 40 people                     Bunk Space for Four          Sleep 16 and 18 adults

Additional interior sleeping space available upon request.

The section of the Officer’s Quarters stabilized for use by civilian reenactors as “Main Street” for the Town of Unity for 2009 has been deemed unsafe by the RI Fire Marshall.

There will be no use of the unrestored Quarters

?Access to the Newly Restored Redoubt/Jail:

The Redoubt/Jail includes four jail cells from the 1860s

?Pre- and Post Event Activities
in the North Casemates:


Saturday Night: Desert in the Casemates 7:00pm-9:00pm

Sunday Morning: Religious Ceremony, 9:30am-10:00am

Through the considerable efforts of our volunteers and staff,
the Trust has once again reclaimed much of the Fort's landward defenses.
  Built to be the most formidable land defenses of their day,
this previously inaccessible area to the Fort is once again
open for use and interpretation.

Do you think your unit could successfully assault
North America's most complex land defenses?

Fort Adams is only a 10 minute drive to Historic Downtown Newport
