This Year's Highlights:
?New Overnight Barracks:
Following two years of construction, our New Barracks
will be made available to Reenactors only during this event!
Accommodates Up to 38 adults in three bunkrooms with a separate Kitchen/Mess
area and four modern Bathroom facilities

Commanding Quarters Two Large Bunk Rooms
Sits up to 40 people
Bunk Space for Four
Sleep 16 and 18 adults
Additional interior sleeping space available upon request.
A
section of the Officer’s Quarters will be stabilized for use by civilian
reenactors as “Main Street” for the Town of Unity, and use of the rooms for
post office, merchants, shipping agents and other uses.
?Access
to the Newly Restored Redoubt/Jail:

Opening this spring,
the Redoubt/Jail includes four jail cells from the 1860s to be used as the
setting for a period court martial and imprisonment.
?Pre- and Post Event Activities
in the North Casemates:

Saturday Night: Dance and Social at 7:00pm-9:00pm
Sunday Morning: Religious
Ceremony, 9:30am-10:00am

Reenactor-Only Skirmish of
the Forts Land Defenses:

Cross Section of Fort Adams Land Defenses
Through the considerable efforts of our volunteers and staff,
the Trust has once again reclaimed much of the Fort's landward defenses.
Built to be the most formidable land defenses of their day,
this previously inaccessible area to the Fort is once again
open for use and interpretation.
Do
you think your unit could successfully assault
North America's most complex land defenses?

Interior sleeping spaces in East Wall (upon request)
Free Secure Parking within the Fort's Interior Ditch
Fort Adams is only a 10 minute drive to Historic Downtown Newport
Display Space available upon request (space is limited)
